To be honest, I have no idea about the story but it exist. There's no campaign mode in this game so you might want to dig more information about it from blogs, streaming platforms like youtube or from the official site.
The game modes revolves around on two opposing teams called the Attackers and the Defenders. The game will try to alternate in between rounds and you will be assigned on a different team each time. Each team have different set of operators, each having different characteristics like their weapons, gadgets, bulk and speed. There's also the recruit operators namely striker and sentry who have no known gadgets but has a wide range of weaponry and utilities to choose from. It really depends on you on what operator to pick, some operators excels in breaching, some on intel gathering, some are good at reinforcing, some are disablers, some are good at heals, some are just plain bad that needs rework and some are not good at anything but still not a bad pick like the recruits.
Matches are done in a small map usually in a building, I've never seen siege match played in an open field (New game mode idea perhaps?). Do note that in siege, most game objects are destructible cuz it's one of the selling point of the game. So enemy operators can pretty much go through walls, windows, from the roof or shoot through from the bottom. So you'll never know which side you'll gonna get fuked from and it adds a fun factor to the game. Sometimes roamer players even camp at some places that they're not supposed to.
I only play quick matches so there might be game modes or maps that I missed on the regular match or rank. There are 3 game modes that I know of which is bomb, hostage and secure. The classic bomb game mode is preventing the other team from defusing the bomb while the other will try to defuse it. The rescue game mode on the other hand is to try and rescue the hostage alive from the other team, killing the hostage on either group will disqualify them. Next is the secure game mode which both teams will try to secure an area for a given amount of time.
The graphics is modern, more fleshed-out and detailed. Although it looks a little bit more cartoonish, probably just my low graphic settings.
Sound assets from footsteps to gunshots were good as well as the music and the voice lines.
Yes it works fine on Ryzen 5 5600G without a GPU. I could get 70-80 fps on low settings with a downscaled (1024x576 resolution [60]). The TAA anti-aliasing setting sharpens the blurry pixels and the made the graphics much better to look at.
