I turned on the TV to watch some daily news stuffs and a cooking show came up and running. The challenge for the day was both contestants will be making stew. Contestant A made the usual classic stew we all knew and loved, while Contestant B took the extravagant route of adding more ingredients with a more complicated instructions to boot. Both stew taste more or less the same and the winner is Contestant A because of simplicity. I followed Contestant A recipe and learned how to cook Stew.
Huang came to visit me to advertise his wares, he sounds like a decent person now. Back then, he will try to scam you into buying his super expensive apples, the heavenly super tasty something apples of some sort. The apples are just like the regular ones except for the name. Actually there are rare dishes that you can make by using his apples, so I’ve heard and it’s not entirely a scam. Also Huang has exclusively rare seeds that you can buy only from him and they are of good quality too. In short, Huang is an honest merchant most of the time.
I went foraging in the forest again and saw the same tent yesterday. I was kind of curious on who was living in it, so I took a peek on the inside but found nobody. It doesn’t feel like a camping tent out from nowhere but a simple cozy home. So, I look it up on the net to see who it really was and my hunch was right, it was Jennifer the nomad girl I met yesterday.
Just when I left the tent, Gottz showed up who is seemingly looking for more trees to cut. If you know Gottz, he’s the man that you will be looking for when you want to upgrade the farm and the house which will cost some lumber and stones. He also sells both but it’s too expensive for me, I don’t know if it’s still the case on this timeline but I would rather just gather the lumber myself, stone included.
I took a long dip in the hot spring after foraging and immediately felt the weakness subsiding as my strength gradually goes up. It’s not like I have other plans on that day, It’s just that trying out things outside of work really helps you appreciate life. There are times that rushing on things will only ends in mediocre satisfaction.
